Harvard
 University - Africa Business Conference
BROAD COVE CEO Jim Brenner was a panelist at the Harvard Business School's 11th annual Africa Business Conference speaking on developments in the housing and mortgage finance sector. The panel was moderated by Harvard-MIT Housing Center Director Nicholas Retsinas, who is a Director of Shorebank, former Chairman of Habitat for Humanity, and an Undersecretary of Housing and Urban Development in the Clinton Administration.  Mr. Wale Akinmusire of Lagos, Nigeria and Ms. Laila Machari of Nairobi, Kenya also contributed to the panel.  The conference has become well-recognized for its large turnout of young MBA and entrepreneurs including students and alumni of  'other' business schools, not just Harvard who bring ideas, practical experience and optimism, as well as a most welcome tendency to challenge the panel-experts and bring a real-world perspective.  Read more: Harvard Africa Bussiness Conference
